How Much Does Diving in Nusa Penida Cost?

A single fun dive in Nusa Penida costs IDR 945,000 with us at Legend Diving Penida, with full equipment and lunch included. A try dive for non-divers costs IDR 2,190,000, and the three-day Open Water course costs IDR 6,800,000. At about IDR 17,900 to the US dollar on 4 October 2026, that is roughly USD 53, USD 122 and USD 380.

Three costs sit outside those prices: the fast boat from Bali, the marine park ticket and, for some sites, a remote-site fee. This article adds them up. Every price of ours below is taken from our Nusa Penida diving prices, the page to check for current figures.

The payment terms also affect your budget.

  • Deposit. A booking needs a deposit of at least 40% per person, and 50% for a course.
  • Balance. The rest is due 24 hours before the activity.
  • Method. Cash in rupiah is the cheapest way to pay. Cards are accepted with a fee.
  • Cancellation. You are refunded if you cancel more than 24 hours ahead, or if we cancel for weather or a mechanical problem. A no-show or a later cancellation is charged in full.
  • Insurance. We strongly recommend personal dive insurance and can sell you a short-term policy before your first dive.
